I was apparently very lost looking today at my local craft store because an amazing woman named Carol walked right up to me and saved my bacon. She is a local quilter who makes quilts for charity- literally an angel. She was there doing her own shopping but stopped and helped me for over 30 minutes.
I am literally in awe of her knowledge. She explained Kona cotton and bias and seams and that cotton fabric stretches more in one direction than the other. She blessed me, a random lost stranger, with her 30 years of experience and quilting wisdom.
Thank you Carol and every other sweet human in this community who welcomes new and inexperienced people with open arms and sage advice.
