Finished my first FPP project

This was my first time trying FPP and once I got the hang of it, I really enjoyed it! The bird is actually my second attempt, as the first one was for learning and came out a bit messy. All the fabric aside from the orange is from thrifted men’s shirts. And I did the hand-quilting with mostly thrifted embroidery thread. I love challenging myself to create in more environmentally friendly (and frugal) ways. This little pillow cover will be a Mother’s Day gift for my mom :)
