For the quilt I'm working on now, I've just been trying new techniques, new blocks, really anything that I've had bookmarked or saved on Pinterest forever. When asked what style it is, I've been trying to describe it and improv quilt isn't quite right, neither is crazy quilt or scrap quilt... How about FAFO* quilt? Because really, that's what I'm doing. There's 26 different cat based fabrics purchased for this plus the handful of random not-cat bits I cut out of pieces of my stash I posted some pictures, there might be some blocks doubled up, I know it's not all of them because I don't have pics of all the ones I spilled a can of Dr pepper on. It was a whole thing. Funny enough this was the back of the quilt, the front is made of 180 squares but it's kinda boring compared to whatever is going on here. Also nothing is the same size which is making it extra difficult to connect things, so that was bad not-planning on my part. I've tried adding filler strips but I still managed to screw it up, lol. FAFO quilt, it's perfect!
