Hi all, I’ve recently started making quilts for my local women’s shelter. I’m a grad student on a tight budget, i’ve only bought used or thrift fabrics but I’ve already completely blown my budget on fabric and other supplies. I was wondering if you all knew of any organizations that gave quilt kits, fabric, or supplies away for free or discounted prices? I know quilts for kids ships quilt kits but the finished quilts have to be shipped back to them (understandably!) and I want to keep my quilts in my community. I want to make as many quilts as I can! Pictured is my most recent quilt top!
