It’s been a rough month, so I decided to treat myself and work on a quilt sandwich and have a couple of drinks. I guess drunk me was feeling empowered and decided to free motion quilt my project. My good quilties, it was a mistake. Things are seriously uneven, the thread tension is balls, it’s a mess. I’m in the process of unstitching the 1/4 of the quilt that I top stitched. There are threads EVERYWHERE.
Does anyone have a quick or preferably less painful way to get all of the errant threads off? I was thinking about taking all three layers and tossing them in the dryer to “fluff” them and possible remove the threads that way?
