Does life, as a commodity, appreciate or depreciate over time?
Post Body

So hypothetically;

Every year on your birthday the government makes you an offer. You get a letter in your mailbox explaining that the world has become overpopulated and you can chose to report to your nearest police station and volunteer to be taken off the census. In exchange the person, persons or charity of your choice will recieve a one time payout of 1 million dollars. The offer is only valid for 48 hours.

The question is not if you would chose to do it the question is, hypothetically, should the offer go up or down with each passing year? 🤔
