Has anybody come across any concrete data on how long washed, frozen sperm lives once it's been inseminated? I've seen numbers all over the place and can't seem to find a consensus!
By the way, we just had our first insemination today. I got a postive OPK last night, but am afraid it still might be a touch early. Unfortunately, my doctor's office is closed on the weekends, so we went ahead and got the IUI today instead of trying on our own at home tomorrow. Here's hoping the little swimmers will last long enough, but at least we already have another vial purchased and waiting for us to try next month if it doesn't work!
I am trying hard not to think about the future and what it means if this actually DOES take, because I don't know if I'll have the courage to keep trying otherwise. Stuff feels so real now! Who can relate?
