Arcane has really ignited interest in the game in the sapphic community, thanks to Vi x Caitlyn. That got me thinking and I came to the conclusion that there might actually be more queer female characters than confirmed hetero ones.

Obviously, the definition I'm using is pretty broad, but it's a combination of in-game lines, tweets from the writers, official stories, and open secrets. For example, Taliyah counts based on what her writers said on twitter. Likewise, Irelia is in based on her interactions with Blossoming Blade. On the het side, we have Shyvanna and her rumored relationship with JV4.

Overall, based on my somewhat limited knowledge, there are 15 female champs that are queer, 9 that are hetero, and 28 where I couldn't find enough information one way or another. Rek'sai is in her own category because I don't really want to think about what voidspawn are into.
