For some reason all files created on the NAS with any account is created with my wife's account and with administrators group permissions. I don't really understand why this is happening. Permissions look normal, and are configured as I'd expect. Some media related software was installed on the NAS, but I can't say what or what it's changed, as I didn't install it.
I know this isn't much to go on, but anyone have an idea why this might be happening and how to correct it? I don't have the least clue where to start, and permissions on the NAS under the NFS share settings look to be correct, but aren't working as expected.
I can connect via CIFS/SMB and force the correct UID/GUID permissions via fstab options, but that's a less than ideal solution on a Linux system.
Thanks.
