Over the next week, Pushshift will have a few planned partial outages that will affect data that is more than two months old. These partial outages will make grabbing data before January 20, 2019 unreliable until the planned work is completed.
The reason for this is that Pushshift currently cannot afford a complete development environment, so some work has to be done in production directly.
I will try to give 24 hour advanced notice for these partial outages.
The first planned partial outage will be tomorrow evening at 1 AM ET time (Thursday morning). The API may go down sporadically, but should remain up for most of the planned partial outage. Any data older than January 20, 2019 may include duplicates in aggregations and other issues. The planned partial outage will run for approximately 5 hours until 6 am ET.
Thanks!
