How to get all the posts in a given date range?

I'm a moderator on /r/Futurology and want to run some stats on post count per user so I need to just pull a list of submissions within two given Universal Time. With PRAW I used .Submissions but that is no longer an option and there's no replacement.

Are there any good examples of how to do this? Preferrably with the python wrapper rather than just an URLENCODE query?
