Has anyone else found that retention kicks ass against hangovers?

So I got pretty faded last night š just really enjoyed my friends party and indulged in a lot of alcohol and shit food.
Typically after a night like this my next day would be entirely out of wack. Iād feel sick, have low motivation, lethargy, headaches, etc.
BUT to my surprise Iām ready to go! I feel damn close to great today. Iām working out now and Iām hydrating and sweating it out but I have to attribute this to retention? Anyone else relate?
