What would you have done in Robert's place...?
Post Body

... about Dany? The plan the assassinate her is considered morally repugnant by some (by characters like Ned or by some readers too) so what options did Robert had?

  1. Assassinate her just like he wanted to. Morally repulsive and questionable, but it eliminates a future problem and the last blood of the old regime.

  2. Leave her be, which could and would mean trouble in the long run.

  3. Maybe kidnap her and keep her close? But that would make her existence known to Westeros and some old loyalties may resurface.

What would you have done in his place?

Do you think the iron born would accept Theon though? Remember how pompous he was at the start, wearing gold he didn't pay the iron price for and such... unless Theon did the assassination himself? Could be a fun arc

But he was such a crybaby at that point of the story I don't know that he'd follow through with that, yknow? Would be a cool storyline tho
