So the wife and I got a beagle labrador mix last week. She's very intelligent and playful and very well behaved in all but one area. She refuses to poop outside. I know it won't happen overnight but this has got me so stressed out, I just wanna cry. We take her out after every feeding and every 2 hours at least and she pees outside just fine. But she absolutely will not poop outside. Yesterday I caught her before she pooped on the floor and immediately took her outside. Despite this, she just held it until we came back in and tried to poop on the floor again. So I took her out again to no avail. We have been repeating this cycle for about 14 hours at this point and she just will not go outside. I'm exhausted and stressed to the max. I just don't know what to do because I can't just let her poop on the floor but I worry about her holding it for so long.
