Potty training back to ground zero

Hi, I have a 4 months old texas heeler mix. He was doing fine with potty until I trusted him enough to let him inside the rooms.
Beginning from that, he started to pee inside the house again. He was able to hold for 3-4 hours but now he can only hold it for 1-2 hours.
He pees not only in my room but on his crate bed, my bed, on the carpet.
Why is he doing this?
Other than taking him out every 1:30 hours, what can I do?
