Today was my first day at orientation, 8 hour day, the dog sitter texted me about an hour in to say she couldn't make it (again) so my 9 month old littermates were stuck inside for 8 straight hours.
No one peed. I felt terrible and proud. They also destroyed the apartment like they were auditioning for a Rolling Stones afterparty.
Then I had orientation paperwork to do so we missed the dog park. Now it's 9PM, they've been inside nearly all day and are both tired and energetic and have decided to engage in an almost hour long barking battle.
As I filled treat balls and level 3 dog toys (Yeah, we're 9 months old and on level 3. You know how herding dogs do) for what has got to be the 96295729th time today I finally, for the first time, felt the puppy blues.
I'm torn between crying and murdering them, possibly both simultaneously. This is literally worse than the overtired teething tantrums. And they're still barking. They're doing interactive toys while wrestling while barking. I'm going to lose my mind.
