We have a just over five month old cockapoo who has been crate trained from day 1, has never really given us any issue overnight.

Since we returned from our holiday two weeks ago, where she stayed with a friend, she’s been sleeping in her crate downstairs so there is an element of boundaries etc.

However, two nights in a row now she has poo’d in her crate, the first time we’re unsure of what time exactly and the other (today) at approximately 0430.

We have had and always had a schedule with her than we’re up at about 0630 we let her out for toileting and she’s fed, likewise before bed we ensure she’s gone to the toilet.

We can’t work out why she’s suddenly pooing in her crate, any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
