I got my 14 week old male Cavalier 3 weeks ago and am finding toilet training really hard. he's an inside dog, only goes outside for walks (and he doesn't go to the toilet on walks for some reason). he has a fake grass pad near the back door which i spray with potty training pheromones. he was doing it right 50% of the time for the first 2 weeks but the last week has been really bad. today he hasn't gone on his grass at all. he's not toilet shy because he'll pee and poo in front of me. sometimes he doesn't show any signs and then I can't get him to his grass in time. I take him to his grass after food, water, play and sleep but he just hops right off it. sometimes I'll stand there with him on his lead for 10 minutes but he'll just start chewing his lead and not go to the toilet. idk what I'm doing wrong. please help.
