We have a 10 week old yellow lab puppy at home who seems to be adjusting to his new surroundings very well. He is doing very well with his crate training, typically spends an hour and half in his crate at a time while making a minimal fuss.
We’re noticing that he’s becoming very bitey, and we’re doing our best to tell him no when he bites anything other than his toys. Does anyone have any tips when it comes to minimizing the biting?
Just last night as we’re preparing to feed him his dinner, and this morning before breakfast, he started jumping around and barking at us (labs and food, I know he’s excited) but we’d like to minimize this behavior ASAP. If anyone has any tips regarding this post, or any tips in general regarding training a young lab puppy we’d greatly appreciate it.
