Getting over covid and my new manager
Post Body

So I’m toward the tail end of my covid experience a day after I was cleared my new manager called me and asked me to come in even tho I wasn’t on the schedule. I tell him I’m still not well and that I’m sorry I can’t come in he then starts to beg and whine for me to come in I say I’m sorry and that I’m not well. My first schedule day back is today (sat) and I’m not feeling 100% yet not even 90 or 80 and I call out to tell them I’m still not feeling well and I can’t come in and that I’m very sorry but I want to be atleast 80% better. He again proceeds to beg and call me a disappointment. I just recently transferred to this store after being at my old one for nearly 4 years and I had also recently stepped down from full time because of stress/ depression. So anyway he starts to beg and tell me I’m letting him down and all sorts of things that are not a good sign that he is now my manger. I’m hoping he doesn’t try to firer me for being sick with covid . Does anyone have an opinion on this situation is there anyone in upper I can talk to about my concerns? Also as a side note before I was sick he would try to call me in but would have made plans already and couldn’t and he would do the begging thing that isn’t a good look on a manger.
