I was so excited to try Publix icecream, especially since the store finally came to my state and i had gotten the birthday reward for a free one. So naturally, i chose chocolate since it's my favorite AND it's simple. Broke into it soon after buying and i couldn't be more disappointed. It wasn't creamy, only mildly sweet, but the biggest upset was the massive aftertaste it had. It was..odd. Tasted artificial, like a bit of trumoo flavor, but worse. It almost tasted stale? I don't even know how to describe it to be fair. It stays in your mouth even after swallowing, it's just nasty 😭 Did i perhaps get a bad batch, or maybe i chose the wrong flavor? Everyone on reddit raves about their icecream but this fell incredibly short for me
