I'm looking to write a book that reads right-to-left, since the primary language it's in is Hebrew. However, I want the right-hand page to be in Hebrew, but the left-hand page to be a translation in English, so I can't just use MS Word or LibreOffice (more on that later), since when I reach the end of the page, and want to keep typing, it'll just add a page, and not care whether it's on the left or right.
Is there any software that's free or relatively inexpensive that would be able to help with this formatting? I currently use LibreOffice because it's the only word Processor I can find that can support the zero-width characters I need for the Hebrew font I'm using. I set it to an A5 page, 'landscape', and then create a 2-column table, effectively making each column 1 'portrait' A6 page, but that causes complications with page numbers...
Any tips?
