Hello,
I am currently working as a remote CRA and have been trying to transition into an in-house CRA role. I am a medical school graduate and have always wanted to work in the research field. I have been applying to a lot of places through Indeed, Ziprecruiter, Glassdoor and LinkedIn but either no one looks at my application or recruiters call for the screening process and nothing goes forward. One position that I applied too had 3 interviews before I got a face to face interview only to get a call back two weeks later saying that they really liked my application, my medical background, my interview but the only thing that I did not have was hands on experience. Which is odd because they knew that I did not have hands on experience, I mentioned it a couple times in the other interviews and during the interview, they said that this position would be great to learn and start a career as an in-house CRA. Just for that one position, that took close to a month and a half just from sending my application to the face to face interview.
Does anyone have any advice on what the best step to get hands on experience to build on my career as an in-house CRA and in the research field.
