Glad Trump was convicted, but it's not why you think...

I have a lot of conservative family. You know the type, "how are you comfortable representing criminals?"
Well, now they get a look at one of their heroes going down on a criminal charge. So maybe they will be more receptive when I tell them we're all innocent until proven guilty, and even then, the system is just not designed to be fair to defendants.
Some will still twist in knots to justify their world view, but I can always hope...
