I have ptsd because of something that happened during Christmas 2021 and I still have a really hard time every Christmas. It's so hard to sit here with family and smile through it all while I'm actually panicking inside. I used to love Christmas but now it's the worst time of the year. The forced happiness when all I feel is pain is so hard to deal with. Tips are welcome and even knowing I'm not alone also helps. I already decided a few months ago that I will only celebrate the 24th, because the 25th is too hard atm. If anyone wants to talk later I would 100% appreciate it.
