Post Body

Someone suggested I start getting a lot of research done so that I'd have an easier time getting into the US as someone working in the mental health field.

I know the requirements for therapy/counseling are to have a MS from a APA accredited course (or what NACES would consider a "substantial equivalent") and supervised experience, but I've not seen anyone mention research before. Perhaps this is more of a "resume" thing, which employers would consider more?
