A new study in mice shows that ongoing social stress can cause neurons in key parts of the brain to become senescent—they stop dividing and release inflammatory signals linked to age-related diseases. This highlights how social stress might speed up aging.

Social stress put simply is how we are computing our surroundings for danger and survival. More exposure to this computing means more work. More work means less longevity. Which means being social is slowly killing us, even though mammals are social beings. Esstionaly the thing we need the most to survive, is killing us; socialization.
