I just now got the reference that Shawn was making when he suggested that their acapella group be named Quarterblack

I was listening to the Wet Hot American Summer soundtrack after just finishing the Netflix show (I've been a fan of the movie for a bit now) and it started playing Harden My Heart by Quarterflash. I just clicked in my head that this was an 80's band and Shawn constantly makes 80's pop references and I'm certain that Quarterblack is a reference to Quarterflash.
