RemoteJoy (or equivalent) on Linux?

Hey I've got the remotejoy plugin but I'm not sure what to do to get it working on Linux. I tried this plugin and it works but it's really choppy. Nice thing is all I have to do is open mpv player and it just works. For RemoteJoy I'm not sure what to do because the client is a windows app and I don't see any new video devices show up in /dev/ when RJ runs on my PSP..
