I tried to grow and thought I failed. Then I looked in the box and ... ??

I bought 2 different grow-kits from Etsy and the "research spores" from overseas. Nothing seemed to be happening so I got frustrated and just shoved the cardboard box they were in under my bed and forgot about them. That was literally 9 months ago. I know, I'm an idiot. Anyway this is what I found when I opened the box. Is this ... anything? Does this mean I should try again and this time not forget about it? Can I actually consume anything in this situation? Did I gross everyone out? Did I kill beautiful creatures?

And what about Orange Julius? I must have that recipe.

Anyway, help.
