Can i check on my grain bags through a grow tent window?

I recently inoculated my first batch of grain bags and one bag of uncle Ben’s rice. I have them set up and a grow tent that has a viewing window, but I’m uncertain if it would cause harm to open that window to look before two weeks is up?
