Could the plastic bags be substituted with 1/2 gallon (2 quart) glass mason jars? I have such a jar prepared as specified in this tutorial (I used 2 pounds of wheat grain and 1.5 pounds water) but I am not sure if it will survive the pressure cooker. Jar is filled to the 1500 line. See pics.
