Information regarding internet games

I been playing some games that lock me out of some normal game things by not being connected to the internet (I.e. hitman 3 not able to stash items or shadow of war no garison) I was wondering is there a way to set up a dummy connection of sorts to make it so it thinks it's working normally and being able to access those internet only portions of games
