Was looking into swapping my PS3 into a PC case and water cooling it.

Ran across this thread on evga https://forums.evga.com/m/tm.aspx?m=901288&p=1

In that thread they said they leave the be player on the motherboard due to heatsink reasons...

Does anyone know exactly what the drive is cooling? Or what on the drive needs to be cooled?

**Edit I'm not trying to use the same ugly case as the one in the thread linked as I think it's to small and want everything contained in the PC case
