I need help trying to get okage shadow king to work

- Ok so I keep trying to play okage and it'll start up fine but after about 5 dialog boxes in it just stops progressing and just freezes, I know it's not a problem with my ps2 being unable to read blue disk games as I have 5 others that work fine. What could be causing this
