I'm a huge fan of the nylock mod for removing the variance in the heat bed and I've applied it to all of my printers. Whenever I'd make the adjustments, I found a few scripts/plugins that help with it, but I had trouble finding a single script that had it all in one location, so I've thrown together an Octoprint Plugin for guiding through the adjustment of the nylocks.
Right now, it just guides you through the adjustments, but in the future I'm going to add a config setting so you can specify a "target variance." If you add G81 to your start/stop gcode, the printer will send its measurements on every print and the plugin will re-calculate. If the variance goes higher than your configured target variance, I plan on adding a little notification in the navbar of octoprint.
I do need to add to the documentation a bit, but wanted to post it in a few places for some people to give it a shot if they have a use for it. When adjusting, all views except raw values display the direction in which to turn the screws using an icon next to the value. The color coding also just represents how far the value is from 0.
Hope someone finds it useful!
