Prusa Support has left me with a NEVER working XL printer and as of now, wont fix it
Post Body

RESOLVED

u/josefprusa please look in to this, contact me for the order number...

We ordered an XL last year, just received it. The upper interlock doesnt work as they have a factory defect on some parts that the friction spring pad holes were not large enough after anodizing the part. Called in, they agreed to swap the part. Its needs:

1 x Upper interlock

2 x Pins

2 x Springs

I told them not to worry about the springs as i have those, the pins though i cant get out the current interlock, they are jammed in due to the manufacturing defect. So they send:

1 x Upper Interlock

1 x Pin

4 x Spring

YOU see this issue here? support doesn't, they just cant grasp that i need 2 pins and dont see ANY issue sending 1, i was VERY clear to send over the Interlock and 2 pins as thats what required to get it working, my printer has never worked and now they dont see any reason to send the parts. I am very not up for buying parts i require when they should send them.

I have Prusa phone number so will be calling them when they open.... this would never of happened 3 years ago !!!!!

UPDATE

Prusa now appears to have realized the mistake and are saying they are sending another PIN, will update here once i see tracking / it arrival.

UPDATE 2

New pins received, they also sent a V6 nozzle adapter (which we prefer over the all-in-one), The XL now works as designed with both upper and lower latches at the same friction levels.
