Negative reaction to Prozac? Or is this normal?
Post Body

First, I have an appointment with my psychiatrist on Monday to talk about it. That's just many days away and I am feeling super anxious 🙏

I've previously taken Celexa but it didn't work out, so my new Dr put me on Prozac for depression and anxiety.

I started in 20mg Prozac in February and got the increased anxiety that seemed to subside a bit after April but I was still feel really bad, so we increased my dosage to 40mg at the beginning of May.

It's now July 1st and I'm feeling much more anxious, big spirals, nausea, headaches, sleeplessness, etc. Most of those things I was warned about and then told it should calm down by month 2.

The problem I'm having is that I'm starting to feel manic for the first time in my life. Like hard core overstimmed, cant focus, spending like crazy, not eating or sleeping enough, etc.

That's...has anyone else experienced that? Did it go away? Did you change medications?

Thanks guys ❤️
