Should I get Pro Tools 11?

Hey guys,

I've been wondering for a while whether it is worth upgrading. To be clear I am a student and I will get the upgrade for free but I've seen a lot of posts saying that it does not work with a lot of plugins. I wanted to ask how easy this would be to fix and if there are any other big problems with it. I have a macbook pro so I know that Pro Tools will have a few bugs but as long as they do not hinder me too much I should be fine with them.
