It’s your fourth month with her
But, it’s my 15th without you.
I never got the flowers, curated playlists, or even your love for imperfections.
I lay here at night thinking of how my mouth and cheeks are wilting and how hers are blossoming with your kisses
I’m breaking my own heart thinking of you
But, I guess I’m nostalgic about you breaking it
So, I’m doing it myself
Whether it’s by you or me, I hope all heartbreak will one day cease
