Help please!! We have a tank of propane for years, stored outside. We are in Houston and out of power now. I tried to use it today, and found out the valve is stuck inside. Even I turn the valve ccw all the way, still no gas came out. I know I can't use regular hammer to slightly bang on it. I just wonder whether I can use rubber hammer to slightly knock on it, to see whether free up the valve. Is that safe at all?? It is full tank. Hate to waste it. But any hazard will not worth to get a new tank for $20.
Thank you all advice.
