As someone from a mixed race background it's always a challenge trying to fit in. You're not Asian enough to be Asian, and you're not enough of your other race to be them either. So when it comes to looking for genuine connections with those with similar backgrounds, it's hard to just go to your local R4R community, let alone the larger R4R communities that cater to everyone.

In order to assist with others in the same boat, the r/hapa4hapa sub was created in order to support the Hapa community to look, post and comment on others looking for something genuine and similar!
