Banned from r/prochoice
Post Body

Ok so I wanted to wait a little bit longer before posting this but I’ll just do it now and give an update later with screenshots when mods get back to me. I got banned from r/prochoice yesterday, and after reading that you might think that I’m some troll that likes to go around baiting people on subreddits of opposing opinions as a ‘troll’ or whatever. Not the case, I only visited them because it’s good to know what kind of arguments they’ll be presenting etc. I’ve only ever commented on two things, the first was pointing out the false dichotomy of that drowning baby poster from a couple of days back (ensuring to be civil and factual so as to not get banned) and the second was answering someone’s question “does science consider an embryo a human” or something to that effect to which I simply replied ‘Science considers an embryo a human’ which is obviously true because it’s our species and the question wasn’t even about whether it’s alive or morally acceptable to kill. I think that’s probably what got me banned but I was shocked when i was, so I replied to the mods to ask them why I was banned and they replied with ‘Brigading.’ I have no idea what that means to them and I checked reddit rules and the subreddit rules yet found no clarification. That was yesterday and just now I’ve sent another message asking for more detail but atm seems pretty shady
