Hello I am having trouble setting up a steam deticated server I wondering if anyone in this great community can help me out.

I have already download the project zomboid steam server and installed it. I booted it up with the black command screen. The server seems. To be running I see a steam server I'd And the message zomboid server is VAC secure.

I then attempt to log on project zomboid on another computer and go to join.

I try to join the server by putting in my ip address in the space labeled IP: the ip space already had another ip beginning with 127. I replaced it with my ip. Not sure if that was correct

Then there's a local ip space not sure what to enter there as well.

But I try to connect to my ip and the 127 both of them say server is no responding.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or something I'm missing is there anything I need to set up on the router I want to use this server for me and my friends can connect to it anytime.

I have such a headache trying to figure this out if anybody can help it will be greatly appreciated Thank you.
