1) How does multiplayer work? Is it like any other game where it's PvPvE? Maybe there's some PvE only?
2) Do mods work with the Steam Deck? And if so, what are the best/more popular mods?
3) I know there aren't any missions in the traditional sense and I know some mods do exist for these. But if I cannot run mods on my steam deck or even if I do but I want others, are there any websites that have lists of missions you can sort of check off outside the game? I know Tarkov has something like this, curious if anyone has done so for this game.
Okay so it's more than 3 questions, but it's 3 main ones that shoot off a bunch of clarifying questions.
Here's a scenario/mod I really would like to see:
Like how cool would this type of mission set be.
Location: school
The location is βdark and debilitated,β society is gathering around to reboot and open the school to get back to the life we used to have (Maybe this is months after the outbreak).
As you complete missions the building and location gets brighter and less βdarkβ feeling - "light" is restored to the darkness, windows are new, clean, cosmetically appealing, yet safe (no boarded up stuff), grass is grown and mud/weeds are eradicated.
find βxβ survivors with kids - tell them about the school
gather and find/bring back wire to establish safe barriers for the school/school yard
bring βxβ books back so we can begin teaching our students again
bring lawn/weed chemicals & soil to replant the school yard
You get the idea, but seeing something go from abandoned and dilapidated, then recovering and becoming βfreshβ again would be such a cool idea to me.
You could have so many things like this for other POIs too.
Thanks for answering my questions, discussing, and coming to my proposed mod I'll never be able to do myself. π
