I am watching thru the new Benq X3000i projector, and when I pop a 3D disc into my Xbox the X3000i automatically detects 3D and goes into 3D mode, however when I watch a 3D SBS rip through Plex the image stays in side-by-side mode and the X3000i doesn't detect the 3D. The 3D setting is greyed out so it seems like it can't be enabled manually.. this sucks because I have tons of 3D movies on Plex which was one of the main reasons I wanted this projector. Anyone know if there is a workaround?

If I set the HDMI input to standard instead of enhanced, then it does let me access the 3D mode in the menu, although it only gives the option of selecting 3D sequential and this makes no difference. I've tried thru Plex on my Nvidia Shield as well as my Xbox and neither work. I've also tried setting both devices to only output in 1080 and this didn't work either.

Surely someone else has come up against the same problem?

On my old Benq 1070 (a 1080 projector) I never had this problem, so perhaps it is something to do with 4K and HD although like I said, setting the outputs to 1080 never made a difference..
