As a Civil PM working with City projects, I feel burned out. Do other industries feel the same? Civil PMs who have changed industry, where did you go and how is your experience?

Post Body

I can't speak on behalf of other industries but construction jobs comes with a lot of stress and anxiety, especially government jobs. The job itself is not very technical because we are reading over the drawings and bring up issues to Architects, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical engineers and most of the time suggest things that are practical and can be constructed. It has more to do with a lot of communications, documenting, babysitting trades and recording everything accurately.

Civil PMs who have been on similar situation, was there anything you did that helped?

Civil PMs who changed industry, what industry did you change to and how is your experience?
