How does one get into project management?
Post Body

It seems like all the job postings for PM work requires years of specialised experience in PM roles.

I am based in Europe and I am currently studying international business and I have had project management classes as well as operations management. I want to get started in project management but it seems almost impossible.

Edit - thank you to all that commented and gave advice. I really appreciate it a ton. I guess I took it for granted that indeed it is a management role and it's not something you can get into without that experience.

This is still something I want to move into and I will be looking for opportunities to get in on the ground floor and work my way up.
