I am the Project Coordinator for the IT Department that is 8 other people. We currently have a tool that is integrated with with our ticket tracker as a way to easily promote a ticket/s to a project. This is a fully customizable application that is from the prior PM. I am now 4 months into my job and there is a serious lack of use of this tool. No one has an issue using the ticket tracker that we have and the project tracker is just an extension of the ticket tracker. I am at wits end trying to get the department to use this tool. I am ready to try and gamify this if I have too.
What tips or tricks do you have for getting a team/department to use a project management tool?
