First project need some advice please FYI Iām pretty dumb sorry in advance

Hey so I got my first project Iām working on Trying to put a 41 cab on a 98 s10 body
I have gotten the whole s10 cab of and cleaning the frame have to change all the fuel lines
If it possible to start it with out the cab on and the main wire harness to the front and dash would like to test run before I put the whole cab on
